Rail spike
Rail spike also known as Dog spike, track spike .Rail nail, is mainly used for T-shaped rails, the function of the railway spike is to fix the rail on the tie plate, the inclined part below the head is to match the flange of the rail , and the tip is wedge-shaped, not pointed. The railway spike is fixed in the wood sleeper with the tip wedge to parallel to the rail , and the square cross-section makes the railway spike have a much higher fastening force than the round cross-section spike, roughly about 50 % higher .

4、BS standard dog spike
These rail spikes are used for BS80LBS, 75LBS and 90LBS rails. The size ranges from 3-1/2" x 3/8", 2-3/4" x 1/2", 3-1/2" x 1/2", and 4-1/2" x 9/16" dog-eared spoonhead, and sheared patterns.
In addition to our normal products, their shape and dimension can be produced and designed according to the specification of our customers. Their size can be 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm, and the length can be adjusted to client requirement.
